By mid november the rainy season is easing off. on the Pacific side. There are likely to be afternoon showers, mild, and of short duration. In mid to late december there is a short windy season, usually strong but still pleasant, not dangerous. There are still some rainy afternoons and evenings. By late January the coast is heating up. Weather-wise December in the best month, not too wet, not too hot. ANd the waves are bigger and well shaped.
