are the electrical outlets in Costa Rica and Belize the same as in the united states?
im going on a month long trip to Costa Rica and Belize this summer and i want to be able to charge my camera at the hostels I’m staying at
do i need a converter or are the plugs (electrical outlets) there the same as they are here?
Yes they are the same, so no need to buy a power adapter! The power does surge and go out frequently though, so if you’ll be charging important items like ipod/camera/computer/etc, I would consider bringing a small surge protector with you on your trip!
